An Afro-Latina of Panamanian descent, I am an experienced community development practitioner and social entrepreneur. Having worked as a Director of two computer literacy programs in low-income communities in Washington, DC, I understand the dire need to bridge the digital divide in Black communities throughout the Americas. Currently I am conducting research for the Afro-Latin@ Project's Fall 2013 Journal: Inclusion, Development and Technology.
